The new Sim City games is really close to release, launching in the first weeks of March on Pc. Fans of the series have been able to try out some of the game’s content on the first public beta testing phase which was held a couple of weeks ago, on January 29. Some players may have not been able to get inside the testing phase but they may still be able to test out the game before relase since EA has announced today that a second open beta testing will be held on February 17.
Players who have been able to enter the first beta testing may want to apply again even though it’s the same part of the game: EA has stated that there have been some tweakings on that same part which require some more testing before the game’s official release. Players can signup here and will be able to do so until this Monday, when the registration process will be closed.
Sim City will be a different game than its predecessors: for the first time in the series the game will have a strong online component where cities will interact and the whole world economy will be strongly influenced by the players themselves. This choice was made to make the whole game feel more alive and closer to how real cities work.
