San Francisco has some of the steepest streets in the US. Saying that walking on them is difficult is a gross understatement.

Having your everyday walk turn into an uphill hike is no fun. Even so, San Francisco’s streets offer fun possibilities if you know where to look for them.

By simply tilting the camera to street level filmmaker Ross Ching and his friend Karen managed to straighten San Francisco’s streets without removing the gravity effects of going uphill.

Here are the results of this simple, yet clever optical illusion.
