The 7 minute long techno beat was the number one song played at dance parties and despite all odds, continued to be played long after other dance hits.
It is the techno song everyone listened to and even after 15 years it still pops up quite often in unexpected places.
Like for example in a accordion quintet performance.
The Munich’s Accordion orchestra, Akkordeonorchester München e.V. did their own version of “Sandstorm” and it sounds brilliant.
