Recycling, reusing, re-purposing, searching for green ways to do things, it’s all in favor of protecting  the environment. These green methods are slowly finding their ways into everyday life, so why not art as well.

Brazilian artist Christian Pierini aka Mister Copyright or Mr. (C) has taken trash and turned it into installations, raising the awareness of protecting the environment trough art.

He is the CEO of  Union Groups and Artists Theater West Zone, and even wth his busy schedule of teaching the next generation of artists, he still finds time to create masterpieces using the most unexpected tools.

His portraits of famous and iconic people are as astonishing as they are detailed, forcing you to look at what you considered trash in a new light.

Here are 22 of his recycled portraits.
