This enormous crack at the foothill of Big Horn Mountains appeared overnight between 29th and 30th October, and the first thing that comes to mind is that it was caused by an earthquake. Yet, there wasn’t any seismic activity recorded that night.

So, if it wasn’t an earthquake, thank what’s the cause of it?

Since the first images were posted on the social and news networks, there have been many speculations for the cause of the gash, from underground waters eroding the soil to reasons relating to the super-volcano near that area.
