Jimmy grew up in eastern North Carolina with his brother. He got his graduate degree in 2016 from the Greenville Christian Academy. It is a private high school. Before graduating, he started uploading videos on YouTube.
In February 2012, Jimmy uploaded his first YouTube video. At the time, he had only 13 years. In the beginning, Jimmy uploaded videos under his name MrBeast6000. And in the first few years, he didn’t get much success and followers.
