Dr. Simon Ourian is the owner of Epione, a luxurious medical spa in the heart of Beverly Hills. Every Hollywood fan and beauty afficionado knows the doctor’s name—he’s been seen multiple times appearing in the reality TV show Keeping Up with The Kardashians, on the biggest news sites and magazines, and on a roster of famous personalities’ social media feed.
The cosmetic doctor’s non-surgical technique has been a favorite among Hollywood’s prettiest faces: Lady Gaga, Olivia Culpo, Jenna Dewan, and of course the Kardashian-Jenner sisters. Dr. Ourian sees patients from all over the world who fly in just so they could get sculpted and injected by the best in the industry.
The 3.5 Million-strong Instagram account of Dr. Ourian showcases jaw-dropping before and after photos mostly of his actual patients, as well as interesting videos of him in action. He also uses his platform to express his artistic side—besides being the cosmetic doctor to the stars, Simon also happens to be a self-trained artist who does sketching and sculpting.
In his clinic, Dr. Ourian does non-surgical nose jobs, chin and jawline contouring, as well as non-surgical body sculpting, and perhaps every non-surgical procedure one could imagine—all requiring his keen attention to detail as well as his natural eye for beauty. On Instagram, he has posted a number of videos of him using measuring tools to ensure that his clients get perfectly proportional facial features through dermal filler injections.
On his free time, Dr. Ourian ditches syringes for art pens, rasps, and chisels. He sketches portraits and seemingly brings human faces to life in great detail. Dr. Ourian is also a figurative sculptor by passion. He uses clay, marble, and stone as well as more contemporary materials such as resin and aluminum. His favorite subjects are human faces and human bodies—through which he applies what he learned in anatomy, as well as learn from to further enrich his artistic sense for his practice of cosmetic dermatology.
