ARC (Association of Related Churches) exists to help church leaders and pastors worldwide create a thriving church in every community so that more people can be reached with the message of Jesus.

The organization does this by providing opportunities, resources, and relationships to leaders of both existing and new churches so they can become successful in doing so. ARC wants to reach every person who has the desire to plant a life-giving church and help them in their journey.

The first step in doing so with ARC (Association of Related Churches) is to attend an ARC church Launch event.

Below are more details about the role that ARC church Launch events serve in church planting.

What an ARC Church Launch Event Entails

Every leader who wishes to launch an ARC church must attend ARC Launch. The multi-day event allows leaders to hear from ARC staff, coaches, and pastors who will share all the nitty-gritty details of what launching a church with ARC (Association of Related Churches) entails.

The entire ARC church launch process will prepare prospective church planters by connecting them to coaches experienced with launching ARC churches and by providing them with feedback gained through world-class assessment, world-class training, and invaluable practical and even financial resources.

ARC officials understand that people attend the ARC Launch for a variety of reasons. No matter why someone is attending, ARC is here to provide them with the opportunities, resources, relationships, and more that will help their local church survive.

Some of the topics covered at an ARC church Launch event include how to recruit for a large launch, how to build your brand and create a “marketing ground game,” how to fund your vision, the impact that outreach can have, how to start a digital church and much, much more.

The Timeline of Launching an ARC Church

While all ARC churches will certainly follow different paths to open officially, they all follow a relatively standard timeline of events.

Starting anywhere from 12 to 18 months prior to launch, prospective church leaders will attend the ARC Launch event. They’ll then officially apply to launch with ARC (Association of Related Churches). Following that, the future ARC church leaders will be given access to ARC All Access, an online training platform that will help them begin building their launch plan.

Six to 12 months before launch, leaders will then attend in-person assessments, which are required for both the husband and wife to attend together.

The organization requires all ARC churches to meet specific milestones to receive ARC funding, which will happen anywhere from four to six months prior to launch.

As the official launch day approaches, ARC (Association of Related Churches) provides leaders everything they need to ensure a successful launch. Leaders can also stay connected with their Launch Coach for six months and potentially qualify for as much as $20,000 in additional post-launch funding to use when needed.

Finally, ARC churches can join that large and growing ARC family to help others and make sure that no one does ministry alone.
