Do you love reading books?

Talked with a friend today and she said that she hates when a good book is ruined by the movie that is based on the book story.

I’ve decided to check which good books are going to become movies in 2014.

I am sharing a list with the 10 books and the trailers for the upcoming movies…i.e. the trailers that I could find.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

The Hundred-Foot Journey by Richard C. Morais

Fast-forward about 25 years and Libby is approached by the Kill Club, a group of people obsessed with solving notorious crimes.

This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper

Who is in it: Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Rose Byrne, Adam Driver
When should we expect it: Sept. 12, 2014

What is the story behind it: Judd Foxman’s father just died, and on top of that, his wife Jen had an affair with his boss, which recently became painfully public. Judd is forced to sit Shiva and spend seven days and nights with the dysfunctional Foxman clan, facing confrontation and dealing with old grudges. The book is hilarious and the movie features Jason Bateman and Tina Fey. Enough said.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner

Who is in it: Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario
When should we expect it: Sept. 19, 2014

What is the story behind it: When Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D. Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand

Wild by Cheryl Strayed

Who is in it: Reese Witherspoon
When should we expect it: 5 December 2014 (USA)

What is the story behind it: Directed by Jean-Marc Vallee (“Dallas Buyers Club”) and based on Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling 2012 memoir, “Wild” follows the author’s 1,100-mile solo hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. At 26, Strayed, who is played by Witherspoon in the film, spontaneously embarked on the adventure following the death of her mother and a difficult divorce.
