Talked with a friend today and she said that she hates when a good book is ruined by the movie that is based on the book story.
I’ve decided to check which good books are going to become movies in 2014.
I am sharing a list with the 10 books and the trailers for the upcoming movies…i.e. the trailers that I could find.

This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper

What is the story behind it: Judd Foxman’s father just died, and on top of that, his wife Jen had an affair with his boss, which recently became painfully public. Judd is forced to sit Shiva and spend seven days and nights with the dysfunctional Foxman clan, facing confrontation and dealing with old grudges. The book is hilarious and the movie features Jason Bateman and Tina Fey. Enough said.
The Maze Runner by James Dashner

Wild by Cheryl Strayed

What is the story behind it: Directed by Jean-Marc Vallee (“Dallas Buyers Club”) and based on Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling 2012 memoir, “Wild” follows the author’s 1,100-mile solo hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. At 26, Strayed, who is played by Witherspoon in the film, spontaneously embarked on the adventure following the death of her mother and a difficult divorce.
