Top 5 Wrestlers Still Needed for the WWE 2K15 Roster

WWE 2K15

Late last week, the WWE and 2K Games confirmed 62 Superstars for the WWE 2K15 roster. Unfortunately, the roster reveal is still not complete. There are still a number of slots on the roster to be filled. Hopefully, they will be confirmed later. There were some notable omissions that I hope will still make it into the game in time for the October release. Here is my list of top performers who still need to make it into the game:

HONORABLE MENTION: Heath Slater

Without a doubt, Heath Slater isLate one of the most underrated performers in the WWE at the moment. Case in point: his regular awesome work for comedic antics of The JBL & Cole Show as John Bradshaw Layfield’s long-lost nephew, Clementine Layfield. Slater fell just short of the elite five, but I hope he will make it into the game at some point. Slater might not be a headlining talent, but he is frequently one of the most entertaining guys on the roster to watch.

5. Zack Ryder

Quite frankly, I was flabbergasted that the WWE’s self-proclaimed Internet champion, Zack Ryder, was not announced last Saturday. Hopefully, the broski Ryder will be incorporated into the game. Ryder is a fan-favorite who got himself over by connecting with the WWE Universe through social media and his clever web series, Z! True Long Island Story. He later went on to win the WWE United States title. Ryder is a charismatic personality and a hard worker. He has earned a spot in this game.

4. Paige

Paige recently joined the active WWE roster from NXT. However, with all the rumors of NXT and NXT wrestlers being a part of the game, Paige should really be in this game. She has had a breakout year feuding with the current reigning Divas Champion AJ Lee. She really needs to be in this game.

3. Sin Cara

The game has Rey Mysterio, so hopefully WWE will add the other masked luchador to the playable roster.

2. William Regal

If NXT will be included as a part of Career Mode for the game, then William Regal’s presence on the roster is absolutely necessary. Regal is not really an active full-time wrestler anymore, but it is critical to include him in the roster. His work ethic and experience are legendary.

1. Christian

Christian has fallen on some hard times as of late. He has become much more injury prone, and he probably does not have much time left in the sport. Still, his body of work in WWE is deserving of a spot on the roster for this title.
