A new behind-the-scenes featurette for WWE 2K15 does not have much in the way of new footage, but it reveals some tantalizing new tidbits regarding of characters appearing in the game. One thing is certain: John Laurinaitis, WWE producer and road agent, will make an appearance in the game. What is more, famed manage Jimmy Hart, aka The Mouth of the South, will also be in the game.

John Laurinaitis was seen in the video below. In his brief appearance, he is getting the facial scan work for the game, along with some other WWE Superstars, who have already been confirmed for a WWE 2K15 game appearance. My guess is that Laurinaitis will appear for the official story mode, 2K Showcase. One of the classic feuds incorporated for 2K Showcase is John Cena vs. CM Punk from 2011 to 2013. Laurinaitis played a very pivotal role in that feud, so it makes sense he is in the game in some capacity. Honestly, I would not mind having the option to play as Laurinaitis. During his stint as the General Manager of Raw in 2012, Laurinaitis did make it into the ring. At the Over the Limit pay-per-view event, Laurinaitis even defeated the legendary john Cena. I am happy to see Laurinaitis, aka Mr. Personality and Johnny Ace, make it into the game in some capacity.

Jimmy Hart is another great get for the game. To clarify, it has not been 100 percent confirmed he is in the game. However, during the new featurette, Hart appeared and said, “Being in the game is unbelievable.” So, based on that clip, there is absolutely no reason to believe Jimmy Hart is not in the game. I want a good number of managers and valets to choose from in the game, so I am glad to see a longstanding veteran like Hart will make an appearance. In that respect, Hart joins Paul Heyman in the game. I assume that Ric Flair could have the manager option as well because he frequently played that role for Triple H in their days with Evolution. In addition, Flair played that role for Triple H’s feud with Shawn Michaels, which is one of the signature feuds for 2K Showcase.

Another isolated screenshot contains a list that references WWE NXT Superstar Sami Zayn. Zayn’s appearance on this list does not yet confirm he is in the game. However, Zayn is a top worker for the WWE NXT roster. 2K Games has already revealed that WWE NXT will be a part of the game’s MyCareer Mode. Zayn’s appearance for that portion of the game is a no-brainer. It would be absolutely awesome to get to play as the man formerly known as El Generico in a new WWE 2K15 game.

WWE 2K15 is due out on October 28 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
