Next month, Sony PlayStation will put on its two-day community event, the PlayStation Experience 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is open to the public and will feature some huge upcoming titles for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The big event also includes developer panels and keynotes. I am excited about seeing the previews for the following list of games at the show.
HONORABLE MENTION: Until Dawn

I am highly intrigued by this game. The videos I have seen make Until Dawn look like a cinematic horror thriller, done as a survival horror video game. That is a very interesting concept for a video game, and I am curious to see the direction in which Supermassive Games takes the title. The plot seems like a mix of John Carpenter horror films and Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead. Until Dawn looks like a different, almost experimental type of video game. So, I wonder how effectively the execution will turn out.
5. Bloodborne
[youtube url=”http://youtu.be/Hdzpy5UXT0Y”]
Bloodborne’s release date was recently delayed about a month. Hopefully, the delay gives developer From Software more time to deliver the most polished, solid experience possible. So far, Bloodborne  appears to have some excellent, impressive creatures and boss designs. The next-gen visuals for the game look astounding. I look forward to seeing more of the game at the PlayStation Experience.
4. Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X provided a fun presentation at E3 earlier this year. However, it was even better to finally play the game at the GameStop Expo. The tweaks to the gameplay with the interactive environments, similar to Injustice: Gods Among Us, are great. Even more characters have been revealed in the intervening months. I hope the PlayStation Experience gameplay will offer even more character options and additional bloody Fatality moves.
3. The Order: 1886
[youtube url=”http://youtu.be/2FK8dgzW0o8″]
The Order received a hands-on preview during E3 2014. The game featured some excellent graphics and some enjoyable third-person shooter action. I am curious to see if developer, Ready at Dawn, will have more material for the game ready to go for the PlayStation Experience. I hope that more footage providing a greater look at the depth of the story and character will be revealed at PlayStation Experience.
2. Batman: Arkham Knight
[youtube url=”http://youtu.be/dxa34RatmSc”]
Batman: Arkham Knight made a great impression at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Finally, the game has a release date of June 2, 2015. PlayStation Experience will feature the next look at the highly anticipated release for the last game in Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham trilogy.
1. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
[youtube url=”http://youtu.be/y1Rx-Bbht5E”]
The reveal trailer at the E3 for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was awesome. The trailer hinted at a dark and serious subplot. The footage featured a noticeably older and more grizzled Nathan Drake, along with some ominous voice-over dialogue by Drake and his best pal Sully. Uncharted 4 will have a preview at PlayStation Experience, and I cannot wait to see what Naughty Dog has in store for the likely “swan song” of the Uncharted game franchise.
