In a strong publicity move, Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One is receiving a price drop. The console is now available for $349.99, only at US retailers, for a special promotional price. Even if the price drop for the Xbox One is only a temporary, seasonal price, it is a brilliant business move on the part of Microsoft.
With the recent strong sales figure for the Xbox One, Microsoft and Xbox finally are riding a huge wave of good press. There is some positive momentum for the Xbox One right now.
