It is now official. Star Wars is coming to Disney Interactive’s Disney 3.0 Edition. Fan favorites from all across the Star Wars Universe will soon be incorporated into the game. A number of characters have been confirmed for the roster, including new heroes from the Marvel Universe, Pixar Animation characters from Inside Out and Disney Animation icons. For my latest wish list, I wanted to compose a list of favorite Star Wars characters I would most like to see get dedicated figurines for the game.

HONORABLE MENTION: Rey

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still a ways away. So, it might be a while before Disney Infinity 3.0 starts incorporating the characters from Episode VII. I hope at some point they do. When that happens, I believe Rey, as the hero and lead character of the story, should probably be the first character from that film who is translated into the game. It might not play out that way. The developers could choose BB-8 for all I know. However, since the trailers give off the vibe that Rey is the main heroine, she should probably get strong representation in the game.

5. Ezra Bridger

If there is one character from Rebels I want to see incorporated in first, it has to be Ezra Bridger. I realize that Ahsoka Tano, another character who appears in Rebels, is in the game. She is getting her own figurine. However, Tano has more recognition for her part in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. It seems that her figurine is based off that appearance. Considering that Disney Infinity covers Disney animated shows, it makes sense that the star and hero of the series, Ezra Bridger, gets represented in the game. Rebels is gradually becoming a highly popular show, and Ezra is a great window in character for younger fans and players.

4. Lando Calrissian

His name is Calrissian. Lando Calrissian. The old space pirate Lando Calrissian is another fan favorite and beloved character who belongs in this game. I do not expect him to be added in there right away. However, due to Lando’s more active role in the Star Wars canon lately, he definitely has a place in this game. Lando has even appeared in the more recent Star Wars: Rebels animated series. There are few characters that are cooler and more BA than Lando.

3. R2-D2

He is C-3PO’s constant companion, the straight man of the duo. You cannot have a new C-3PO figure without R2-D2. In recent years, R2-D2 has become more active in his part in action sequences. In the prequels, he turned out to be quite useful in a fight. That would make R2-D2 a fun playable character for the game.

2. C-3PO

C-3PO will probably appear somewhere in the game, alongside his android companion, R2-D2. However, I do not see C-3PO anywhere in the lineup yet. C-3PO has to join the picture at some point. Anthony Daniels as C-3PO has been a tremendous ambassador to the franchise ever since its inception. It would be criminal for Goldenrod to not appear.

1. Boba Fett

Boba Fett reportedly has his own Star Wars Anthology movie in the works. It makes perfect sense. Boba Fett has been one of the most revered and popular characters in the Star Wars Universe for decades. Bringing Fett into the game is a license to print money. I am a little disappointed that Boba Fett is not in the game first, instead of Darth Maul. Not that I have anything against Darth Maul, but Boba Fett is from the classic Original Trilogy; hence my preference.  No matter what, at some point, the Fett Man must come to Disney Infinity 3.0.
